The fool who knows he is fooled

Zahra Al-Shorayer

We expect too much from life.  We seem to prance around in our minds too much, forgetting that life is too short to have such hopes for.

We forget life isn't in our control. We can control our daily-habits, but we aren't truly in control, and we will never have that control. We forget life is uncontrollable, and sometimes things will happen that we cannot touch, cannot rush, and will make us blush.

We tell, feel and fear. Fear is as cowardly as the fool who knows he is fooled but follows the herd. A coward is one who expects too much from people because people are not in your control, they control their own, and you must abide.

Yes, you can try.

However, if you try, you will never be satisfied because it wasn't their choice. You choose it for them, and that is as cowardly as the fool who knows he is fooled.

We are people who cry, that want to fly, and want their magic carpet to see a whole new world tonight.

We forget life isn't ours. It is uncontrolled, reckless, barbaric, and brutal. We want to control everything and be immortal, but life is as meaningless as the fool who knows he is fooled.

You see, life seems great. We know it is, but life is temporary. Why worry, and why not make memories before you go? Don't be fooled and know how to be the fooler, to live a fuller life.
